Two Students of the Public Relations Study Program, Faculty of Communication Sciences, Padjadjaran University won the 2023 Communication Interest Festival (Comminfest) organized by Atma Jaya Yogyakarta University on April 7—May 20 2023. Both awards were won in the Radio Announcement Competition. with the theme Revive the Indonesian Tourism Economy.
Rr. Anindhita Aura Fitrie, a student of the Public Relations Study Program and her team Adaswara won first place, while another Public Relations Study Program student, Hayva Tatyana Nurfarida Kusumah and her team Charlie Angles won third place in the competition. The awards won by both were announced at the Awarding Night at Atmajaya University, Yogyakarta after passing the final round.

Anindhita and Hayva were selected as champions after going through a rigorous assessment process. Both of them managed to beat 30 teams from various universities in Indonesia. The jury involved in the Radio Announcement Competition Comminfest 2023 includes Triaji Roy Gunawan, as Co-Founder of Scadio, Ika Devi Sulistyaningtyas, S.Sos., M.Sc. from the UAJY Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, and Roberto Sontani as Learning Management Head of Astra Credit Companies.
During the series of competitions, Anindhita said that she gained a lot of new experiences related to broadcasting and teamwork. He also said that participating in the Radio Announcement Competition provided new lessons about the world of radio broadcasting. In line with this, Hayva admitted that he could learn new things about maintaining the tourism environment in Indonesia as outlined in the radio announcer’s technical conversations. From the start of the construction process to entering the final round, he also received new lessons regarding radio operation properly and correctly.
