Profile of The Public Relations Study Programme

The Public Relations study programme discusses diverse and exciting topics regarding various interest in Public Relations sciences which retain to update with contemporary development, develops research that focuses on current issues of public relations, establishes strategic and sustainable cooperative relationships by applying the principles of equality, partnership and establishing strategic cooperative relationships with stakeholders This study programme develops the competence of the public relations profession in a professional manner which includes the ability to communicate (ability in the field of oral communication and writing communication), ability to get on with people (the ability to foster and establish good relationships, both with internal and external stakeholders), ability to organize (the ability to manage the image and reputation of the institution through public relations activities), encouraging Creativity and Imagination (in term of ideas, problem solving, and the use of both conventional media and digital), and Personal Integrity (ethical and personality).

Graduates from this study program would be able to work as Public Relations Officer/Corporate Communications Officer who carries out public relations and communication functions in building relationships with stakeholders in agencies, organizations, and companies. The lecturers in Public Relations Study Programme composed of fifteen Doctors and ten Master degree, graduated from local and overseas universities.

Accreditation

The Public Relations Study Accreditation Program obtained an A Rating from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT). BAN-PT has accredited the Undergraduate Public Relations Program since 2016. The accreditation is still valid until 2026 after going through a re-accreditation process in 2021 based on BAN-PT Decree No. 9025/SK/BAN-PT/Ak-PPJ/S/VI/2021.
