Transparent Political Communication Culture: Reporting of West Java PKS Campaign Funds in the 2019 Election

The culture of party political communication in the era of information openness is a challenge. This study aims to determine the West Java PKS political communication strategy in building a culture of transparency and financial accountability of political parties in reporting campaign funds. The research approach used is qualitative with the case study method. The determination of informants was carried out purposively by a number of six people. The results showed that the West Java PKS political communication strategy in building a culture of transparency and accountability in reporting campaign funds for the 2019 election included at least 6 things, namely analysis of PKS campaign fund reports, transparency as a constitutional mandate and public rights, political communication channels and strategies, political culture in reporting transparency campaign funds, obstacles, and the development of a funding system
