The Covid 19 pandemic is an epidemic that has hit the whole world, including Indonesia, reaching all regions, one of which is Cimenyan Village, Cimenyan District, Bandung Regency. Some of its residents have been exposed to the covid virus, so it is necessary to handle this pandemic, especially those related to hoax news about covid 19 which is troubling the public. For this reason, “Effective Communication Training in Health Information Management in the New Normal Period” is needed. Writing this article aims to describe the effective communication and cohesiveness of group members who are members of the Cimenyan Village RT/RW forum. The method used in this writing is descriptive. The results achieved in this training are, effective communication is participatory communication based on diversity, interaction and dialogue, openness and clarity, and the process is informal. The cohesiveness that is built among group members is based on the similarity of feelings, views, and interests. Membership, quality of interaction, cooperation, ability to achieve success, and ability to face challenges.
